What does it mean to grow old? What does inner growth mean? What does degeneration mean? What is the meaning of time? Life and also dance likes to present itself as an eternal fountain of youth. Old people seem to be superfluous, and death is suppressed as our society frantically tries to bring life under its control. Yet, it is this type of thinking that denies any form of vivacity.

This project explores the transformation of the body. 60 year olds will meet with 20 year olds and they will focus on the theme “ageing”. We will search amongst our collective experiences and impressions of the narrow path of life in order to find and restore that spark of vivacity that is so sorely lacking in society today.
