UNDERGROUND

A solo for Marlene Vilhena, concentrating on the metamorphosis capacity of the body/character to be home for multiple contradictions and complexity : rawness and subtleness, eroticism and vulnerability, intimacy and exposure, all co-existing in an intricate game of plasticity, artificiality and deceit, but also transparency, where audience and performer directly meet in the ambiguous borders of theatre.
